Errands
We picked out the music for our wedding ceremony today...that was way cool. The Kantor played the processional for us, and I nearly started crying! He's a really nice guy, and a WONDERFUL organist, so I am kind of bummed that he won't be able to play for our wedding. However, he IS finding our organist, and assures us whoever it is will do a good job. He was really amazing. The church's organ is quite impressive, and he just was playing stuff off the top of his head. I'm really glad that I get my nod to Aaron Copland. I LOVE Copland. LOVE LOVE LOVE his music. So for the unity candle lighting, we're using Simple Gifts. Not Copland per se, but close enough. Kind of hard to have the real thing, since you need an orchestra for that.... We also finalized our cake design and flavors. I really like simple cakes...no fountains or stairs. So the design she's going to put on it comes from a shawl my mother bought in Hungary...it's a typical Hungarian floral embroidery piece, and it's my nod to my grandma. I think it will look quite lovely on the cake. AND...we got our passport pix taken. YIKESAROONIE. I look like a prisoner. I'm feeling much better. Poor Beloved got jumped when he got into bed last night. But I don't think he minded. Heh. However, extra precautions must be taken when one is taking antibiotics. Guess that's it from here. Perhaps I will hit the sack now.
