OH, the irony. I had a SCREAMING sinus headache today. Took drugs. Nothing. So I decided to take a long lunch and go home, which was ok with the boss. So here I am, when I hear a car in the driveway. It is my mother. My house, mind you, looks like a war zone. So I'm freaking about that. She came in and said "Oh, I was coming back from lunch, and decided to drive by, and I saw your car in the driveway, and wondered if you were ok." A girl can't even play hooky for a couple of hours. Now, my parents are the LEAST likely people in the world to just 'drop over'. In fact, one of the reasons they have a house key is because I know they won't actually use it unless it's an emergency. So the fact that my mom caught me being absent from work is quite amusing. Good thing the Beloved and I didn't decide that today was the perfect day for a nooner....
