Dig this---according to Ass GM, The Big Boss is mad because no one on staff wished him "happy boss's day". Boggle. And he wouldn't actually SAY that to anyone. No. He had to passive aggress all over the place. Maybe we're too BUSY to remember a trumped up Hallmark Holiday. Or maybe WE are a little irked that we got our first paychecks of the fiscal year yesterday, and they don't have our raises on them. Like they never do. We ALWAYS get our raises rectroactively sometime in November. It's like people who forget Christmas. Hello? It's always on December 25. Our new fiscal year? Always beging on October 1. No excuse. Fuck that shit. I mean. I've had some crappy bosses, and this boss is, comparatively speaking, a real gem. But build a fucking bridge and get over it. He thinks we're all drama queens, complaining about how much work we have. He thinks we exaggerate. What. Ever. So while he's feeling all mopey that we don't love him and think he's just the bestest boss EVER, maybe WE are feeling disrespected and unappreciated because our lousy, stinkin' not even an extra dinner out a month raises weren't there when they were supposed to be. Hmmmm? Ya think? Egads. Fund drive starts tomorrow. With any luck, I'll die in my sleep tonight.
