No more Scary Toilet!

OK. Toilet's fixed, we have new electrical outlets in the kitchen and bathroom, and the total outlay was about 300 bucks. Not cheap, but still.

The toilet. Well. Gather in close while Colz gives you a handy toidy safety tip: don't use those dissolving cleaner tablets that you drop in the tank. The plumber came in and within three minutes had it fixed. What happened? Well, the cleaning tablet broke up or got small enough that it somehow got into the bowl. When it got there, it began practically reassembling itself in that jet hole at the bottom of the bowl, blocking the water flow. Plumber man came in, took one look, and went "tink tink" at the deposit with his little screwdriver and flushed...ta da. No more Scary Toilet. That little experience cost 55 bucks. But it's OK. I love our plumber. And I've been told that when you find a plumber or other contractor type you love, hold on to them! Plumber was happy, because he had visions of having to take the toilet out, drag it down the stairs, into the front yeard, and work on finding some mysterious blockage.

Electrician got us all set up in the kitchen and the bathroom, with GFCIs everywhere. Way cool.

AND....other folks from the plumber's company are out at Husband's house, redoing the bathroom. We're like an episode of Hometime....

Gotta run...work beckons.
