Hmmmm. People should be careful when they leave things on copy machines. I just came upon an "employee activity log" that was left behind. Asked co-worker if he saw it. Indeed, he had. He is hoping it belongs to someone who is already using it, and isn't a new procedure to be implemented. So do I. If it IS implemented, I will march my extra large economy sized butt down to the manager's office and tell him exactly what I think of it. Namely, that it is not helping the climate of distrust and paranoia that's cropping up around here. If we aren't productive enough, then he needs to tell us that, not make us account for every pee break and CD filed. I know there are lots of businesses that use these things. And maybe they aren't of Satan. But damn, we are adults, and should be trusted to be able to structure our days in such a way as to get our jobs done. And if we don't, that's something for the supervisor to deal with one on one (Crap, there are only, what, 12 of us who work here?), not by instituting some pansy ass policy.
