A Rant Amended
Ok, Ok, I was a bit...irked....in my last entry. I should amend that, because I DID actually catch a break, in that the 6 p.m. show is automatable. So I made a playlist and will be able to scoot out of here shortly. I can make pork roast for dinner after all. The Boss heard me do the 5 o'clock break and called (on the hotline, which I ANSWERED) to find out what was up. He called just as I was picking up the phone to call HIM to make sure it was kosher for me to automate the balance of the evening. Cool thing is that boss knows I dropped everything to come in. Yay! Brownie points. Now, since The Beloved hasn't been presented in the best light in the past few days, I need to start giving examples of why he is such a special guy. So...here's one. When we both thought I'd be here till ten, the first thing out of his mouth was..."OK, I'll call you later at work, and find out what you want me to bring for dinner." I didn't ask, I didn't say "Oh MAN, what about my dinner??!", he just offered. He is so good to me in a million little ways. Oh gross...now I'm back in the smarmy form of love....
